The four-layer honest sync
We call it "sync." Here's exactly what that means.
Every layer is labeled for what it actually is — a link, a disclosed connection, a metadata lookup, or a sign-in shortcut. Nothing here quietly proxies your video or fakes a connection to a service that doesn't offer one.

Deep-link launcher
Tap a tile, the car's browser navigates straight to that service's own site. Full-page link, zero data touched — we never sit in the middle.
- Layer 2
A real, disclosed connection
Connect Trakt or Simkl from your phone and we read (or, on paid plans, update) your watchlist there. We label it "Connected via Trakt" — never "synced with Netflix," because that connection doesn't exist for anyone.
- Layer 3
Where-to-watch, honestly sourced
TMDB's where-to-watch data (via JustWatch, credited on every page it appears) tells you which service currently carries a title. No fabricated links for services that don't have one.
- Layer 4
TV-style activation codes
For services that support it, sign in through a short activation address like netflix.com/tv8 or disneyplus.com/begin — a short code, typed once on your phone. Zero typing on the car.
What we never do
The short list of things we've ruled out — permanently
No games, ROMs, or emulators
Not on any tier, not as an upsell later. It's a copyright and security minefield with no upside for a streaming companion.
No IPTV, M3U, or Xtream playlist input
We don't accept a playlist link from anyone, anywhere in the product. The server never fetches, proxies, or re-serves a video byte — every player points straight at the source.
No fake "synced with Netflix" claims
If a connection is to Trakt or Simkl, we say Trakt or Simkl. We never imply a direct line into a streaming giant's account system, because none of them offer that to third parties.
No video while driving, ever
Every video surface sits behind a parked acknowledgment. We don't claim to detect motion from inside a browser — that's not something a browser tab can reliably do, and we won't pretend otherwise.
