EVStream and TeslaStreams both run in a Tesla's browser, but they're built around different ideas. EVStream's details here come from its own website on October 19, 2026, and may have changed since.
What each one is
- EVStream is an IPTV player: you bring your own playlist (Xtream Codes or M3U), and it plays it in the car's browser. It also has a YouTube player. It lists support for the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck, and says no account is needed for IPTV.
- TeslaStreams is a launcher with built-in content: tiles for the big streaming services, YouTube and Twitch playing on our page, free live TV from Tubi and live YouTube news, live radio, podcast search and six games of our own. There's no account to create.
The big difference: playlists
EVStream plays whatever playlist you give it, so what you watch depends on the playlist. TeslaStreams doesn't take playlist links at all: there's no field anywhere in the product for one. We made that choice because paid playlists for premium channels are often unlicensed, and we don't want our users in that gray area. Our safety checklist has more.
Pricing
EVStream's site lists an annual plan at $29.99 a year as a limited offer (regularly $39.99), plus monthly and lifetime plans. TeslaStreams is free during early access, with no card asked for.
Our architecture, stated plainly
TeslaStreams never routes video through its servers. Its tiles open each service's own website, where you sign in with your own account, and YouTube and Twitch play through their own official players on our page. Radio and podcasts stream straight from each station or podcast host.

Does TeslaStreams claim EVStream does anything wrong?
No. EVStream is a player; what plays through it depends on the playlist you load. We describe our own choice not to take playlists, not anyone else's.
Does TeslaStreams work on the same cars?
