TeslaStreams vs. MotionStream: Price, Content and Sign-Up Compared

Updated 2026-10-19

MotionStream and TeslaStreams are both browser apps for a Tesla's screen. This page sticks to what each publishes about itself. MotionStream's details come from its own website on October 19, 2026, and may have changed since.

At a glance

  • MotionStream: $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year, with 3 days free; a card is needed for the trial. Live TV, your own media libraries, Twitch, YouTube, classic films, audiobooks, podcasts, worldwide radio and games.
  • TeslaStreams: free during early access, with no account or card. Launch tiles for the big streaming services, YouTube and Twitch on our page, free live TV from Tubi and live YouTube news, live radio, podcast search and six games of our own.

Pricing and sign-up

MotionStream lists a 3-day free trial that needs a card, then $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. TeslaStreams is free during early access: open the site in the car and tap Start without an account.

Content

Both have live TV, YouTube, Twitch, podcasts, radio and games. MotionStream adds classic films and audiobooks from public collections, and lets you add your own media libraries. TeslaStreams adds launch tiles for Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, Paramount+, Peacock, Apple TV, Hulu, Spotify and Tubi, each opening the service's own website.

Subscription streaming services

MotionStream says it doesn't promise playback of DRM-protected subscription services such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ or Prime Video. TeslaStreams doesn't play those inside its own page either: its tiles open each service's own website, where you sign in with your own account and the service's own player handles playback.

Games

MotionStream lists games. TeslaStreams has six of its own: chess, checkers, Four in a Row, sudoku, 2048 and Glitch Hunt, our slingshot physics game. More in our games guide.
