Games on a Tesla Screen: Arcade, YouTube Playables and Browser Games
Updated 2026-10-19
There are three ways to play games on a Tesla's screen. Here's what each one has.
Tesla Arcade
Tesla Arcade is built into the car's software. It has its own set of games, and the lineup varies by model and software version. 2048 has been part of Arcade since 2019. Look for Arcade in the car's Entertainment menu.
YouTube Playables
YouTube's own app in Tesla Theater has included YouTube Playables since January 2026: small games such as chess, sudoku, a daily crossword, Cut the Rope and Element Blocks. You play them inside Theater's YouTube app.
Browser games in TeslaStreams
TeslaStreams has six games of its own, and they run right in the car's browser. There's nothing to download or install: open teslastreams.com, tap Start without an account, then tap Games.
- Chess. Three difficulty levels against the computer, or two players on one screen.
- Checkers. Jumps are required and pieces get crowned, the way the board game works. Play the computer or a second player.
- Four in a Row. Drop pieces and line up four. Play the computer or a second player.
- Sudoku. Several difficulty levels, with a fresh puzzle every time.
- 2048. Swipe to slide the tiles and merge matching numbers.
- Glitch Hunt. Our own slingshot physics game: fling sparks and knock out the glitches. Fifteen levels, three stars each, and three special sparks: Splitter, Heavy and Booster.
All six are our own code, with no emulators and no ROMs.
Which to pick
- Two people, one screen: chess, checkers or Four in a Row in TeslaStreams.
- A few minutes: 2048 or a sudoku.
- Something with physics: Glitch Hunt.
- Already in Theater: YouTube Playables.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to download anything?
No. The TeslaStreams games run in the car's web browser. Open teslastreams.com and tap Games.
Can two people play against each other?
Yes. Chess, checkers and Four in a Row each have a two-player mode on one screen.
Do the games cost anything?
No. TeslaStreams is free during early access, with no account needed.
Can passengers play on the rear screen?
No. The rear screen in newer Teslas has no web browser, so browser games run on the main screen.
Do the games remember my progress?
Glitch Hunt remembers which levels you've unlocked and the stars you've earned in the car's browser, so you can carry on next time.
