YouTube and Twitch on a Tesla: Search, Live Streams and Live News in the Browser
Updated 2026-10-19
Tesla Theater has YouTube and Twitch tiles of its own. TeslaStreams adds another way to watch both, right in the car's web browser, alongside live TV, radio, podcasts and games on the same screen.
YouTube, right on the page
Open teslastreams.com in the car's browser, tap Start without an account, then tap YouTube. You can:
- Search any video. Type what you want and tap a result to play it.
- Browse channels by topic. Rows of the newest uploads from popular channels.
- Watch live news. Live YouTube news channels play right on our page.
Videos play through YouTube's own official player, in its privacy-enhanced mode, and stream straight from YouTube to the car. You don't sign in to Google, and nothing is relayed through our servers.
Why some videos don't show up
Some video owners only allow their videos to play on YouTube itself, not on other websites. Our search leaves those out, so everything in the results plays on our page, and it tells you how many matches it left out.
Twitch live streams
Tap Twitch to see live channels and streamers, grouped into Official, Esports, Chess, Speedrunning, Music, Gaming, and Space & Science. Tap a live channel and it plays right on the page in Twitch's own official player, streamed straight from Twitch.
Everything else on the same screen
The same screen has free live TV from Tubi, live radio from around the world, podcast search, and six games of our own. Our Model 3 guide has the full list, and our games guide covers the games.
